Travelodge announces plans for two new hotels as hotel chain continues its UK expansion

Travelodge, the UK’s first price range resort chain, which operates over 600 lodges throughout the UK, Eire and Spain, has introduced that it has exchanged contracts for 2 new lodges on the east coast of England, in Skegness and Harwich, with development on each developments having additionally commenced on website. The brand new 80-bed Travelodge resort in Skegness is being constructed on a former loopy golf website on South Parade, and can create 30 new jobs. The resort can be constructed to Travelodge’s new premium look design, and can function the corporate’s in-house restaurant 85 Bar Cafe, which can be positioned on the highest flooring of the six-storey constructing, giving views over the ocean. The resort can be constructed alongside a Starbucks Drive Through. Skegness Travelodge is anticipated to be open in time for Summer season 2025.
